Early Red-painted Two-drawer Blanket Chest, probably Connecticut, mid-18th century, molded lift top above a well and thumb-molded drawers, with applied base molding on a valanced skirt and cutout feet, old surface, (imperfections), ht. 42 1/2, wd. 40, dp. 17 in. Estimate $600-800 shrinkage crack to front of case, some boards warped.
