Carved Walnut High Chest of Drawers, Pennsylvania, late 18th century, the cornice molding incorporating reeded detail, above a case of three short and five graduated long drawers flanked by quarter columns, on a molded ogee base with gadrooning, replaced pulls, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 69 1/4, case wd. 39 1/2, case dp. 21 1/2 in. Estimate $2,000-4,000 plugged holes visible from old brass, some reeded detail from cornice needs regluing, some thumbmolding patches at upper corners of some drawers, replacements/additions to some moldings.
