Mathieu Planchon (French, active 1865-1920). A bronze mantel or desk clock of urn form with round porcelain face to front with black Roman numerals and an outer 60 count dial in Arabic numerals, inscribed "Gaultier" below the 12 and "A Paris" above the 6. Clock with applied ribbon form and floral swaths around the dial, the clock presented on a pedestal form base with rosette medallions on each corner. Marked to verso of movement "Planchon Paris" and "4123". Clock with key, missing crystal. Approximately 8.25" x 4.5" x 3".
