George Bellows (American, 1882-1925) Morning, Nude on Bed, Second Stone, 1921, edition of 57 (Mason, 77). Signed "Geo Bellows" in pencil l.r., initialed within the matrix, signed "Bolton Brown - imp -" in pencil l.l., identified on a label from H.V. Allison & Co., Inc., New York, affixed to the backing. Lithograph on paper, image size 11 1/8 x 7 7/8 in. (28.0 x 20.0 cm), framed. Condition: Gentle rippling, subtle toning to upper margin, not examined out of frame. Estimate $600-800 Sheet measures 12 x 8 7/8 in. Scattered minor creases. Hinged at upper corners with remnants from older hinges at the upper corners on the verso. There are faint stains visible (presumably from hinges near the upper corners on the verso) and very pale toning of the sheet to the upper margin. This is not visible within the image.
