Signed "Ansel Adams" in pencil on the mount l.r., titled and dated within an Ansel Adams, Carmel, California, stamp on the reverse of the mount. Gelatin silver print mounted to board, image/sheet size 12 1/4 x 8 7/8 in. (31.0 x 22.4 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Good. N.B. Belgian-born American photographer Liliane de Cock was Ansel Adams's assistant from 1963 to 1972. Under his apprenticeship and tutelage she honed her skills as a photographer, earning a Guggenheim fellowship in 1972. Estimate $800-1,200 The mount is gently light-struck.
