Cast Metal Garden Statue of a Faun, probably Continental, 19th century, ht. 37, wd. 32 in. Note: A cast faun like this one was sold at Sotheby's in 2007. In the auction listing, which attributed the casting to the F. Chiurazzi foundry (after the antique example), it notes that the similar example formerly resided in the Ferreyra Palace in Cordoba, Argentina, a French Classical-style house built by Dr. Martin Ferreyra, a noted early 20th century surgeon.
