Three Pieces of Russian . 875 Silver-gilt and Niello Tableware, late 19th century, sugar bowl and cream jug each marked for Ovchinnikov (mark on sugar overstruck on earlier mark "AC"), tongs lacking maker's mark, each with foliate scrollwork centering a monogrammed cartouche, creamer with additional Cyrillic band to shoulder, ht. 4 3/4 in., approx. 18.6 troy oz. total. Estimate $300-500 Creamer with few very small abrasions, sugar with several shallow dents to interior (each unobtrusive), otherwise all in good overall condition with only slight surface wear and some small areas of rubbed loss to gilding.
