Five Royal Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Harry Simeon Design Figures, England, c. 1925, each molded and polychrome enamel decorated, a match strike with a toper smoking his pipe, seated by a barrel, ht. 3 3/4; and four toby subjects: a candle holder, ht. 2 1/2, two armchair figures, ht. 4, 5 1/2, and a covered inkwell, ht. 2 5/8 in.; impressed marks. Estimate $400-600 Inkwell: Cover rim with glaze roughness; collar of base with slightest edge chip. All other pieces in very good condition throughout with no evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations.
