Four Wedgwood Jasper Medallions and Plaques, England, 19th and 20th century, each with applied white relief, a pair of light blue ground ovals with depictions of The Apotheosis of Homer and The Apotheosis of Virgil, set in ebonized wood frames, lg. 8 1/2 (sight); a dark blue ground oval with depiction of An Offering to Peace, set in a wood frame, lg. 3 1/4 (sight); and a light blue ground rectangular shape with depiction of Dancing Hours, set in a wood frame, lg. 6 1/8 in. (sight); the Apotheosis plaques with visible marks, the others obscured. Estimate $300-500 Each of the Apothesois plaques with heavily stained crazing throughout. The other two in good condition by sight although not examined out of frames.
