George III Mahogany Secretaire, England, late 18th/early 19th century, broken scroll pierced pediment with carved finial over two glazed doors with two interior wood shelves, above projecting lower case with fall-front leather inset writing surface, surmounted by multiple short drawers and correspondence slots, over three drawers, bracket feet, ht. 98 1/2, wd. 45, dp. 21 3/4 in. Each with age-typical wear overall including some nicks and scuffs, replacement hardware, some panes of glazing with cracks and bubbles. Drawer for desk pulls out past case, fold-down writing surface sticks, wear to leather. Break to dust board causing third drawer to stick. Crack in rear leg. See photos.
