Georgian Japanned Tall Case Clock, England, 19th century, with overall gilded bird and floral vinework motifs, stepped cornice over a glazed bonnet flanked by pilasters, over a case with single door and round glass aperture, on a projecting base, ht. 84 1/2, wd. 18 3/4, dp. 9 1/2 in. There is no working key for the door and door is locked. Clock face has some abrasions. Case has scattered chips and nicks, some paint and gilding loss, areas of re-paint and re-gilding, base has vertically oriented crack in front. Aperature window for case door is cracked, and round frame around window is cracked. See photos.
