Brown-glazed Raku Tea Bowl, Japan, hand-shaped tubular with undulating mouth rim, resting on a foot ring, the glaze mottled with red brown spots and pockmarks, impressed "raku" mark near foot ring, with a covered box signed "Sanyu Aka" on the cover interior, ht. 3 3/4, mouth dia. to 4 1/4 in.
