Canvas webbing shows advanced soiling and areas of water marks.
Two straps have torn along turned edge near one armrest. One horizontal strap to backrest has been reinforced, and is noticeably stiffer when examined. Wood surfaces show several small impressions and areas of loss to finish commensurate with age and use. Frame is structurally sound, with no visible delamination noted. Front right leg shows an egregious loss along edge, 3 inches in length. Original vintage condition. Example does not retain headrest element.
Signed with two decal manufacturer's labels to underside of frame: [Bruno Mathsson Møbler] and [Bruno Mathsson Firma Karl Mathsson Made in Varanamo Sweden]. Signed with branded manufacturer's marks to frame: [Bruno Mathsson Design Made in Sweden].
