Lower left corner shows a water mark which extends upwards, measuring eight inches in length.
Reverse shows a continuation of water staining extending upwards 11 inches, while wood surfaces have dried and faded. Seat and backrest are comprised of two joined planks, with each seam showing evidence of minor stablization at some point in chair's history. Small impressions and minor losses are scattered to edges, with a small .25 inch loss to upper left corner. Overall this chair is structurally sound and has an expressive handmade quality.
