Painted surfaces of desk appear to be all original.
Loose shelves bear signs of wear, age and use with some water rings, burn marks and slight warping. On the desk, top surface with minor surface wear with scattered old points of wear and loss. Paper storage compartment has shows slight separation from top while remaining stable. Lower storage compartment shows a vertical separation along joinery. Approximately nine total stable splits to graining across all five vertical upright supports of desk. Desk is structurally sound. Overall showing scattered points of wear and losses in keeping with age and use. Attractive appearance overall.
