Red primer has become slightly visible to exterior of shades, visible mostly only under closer examination.
Several shades are slightly misshapen when viewed from above and not affixed to armatures. Sockets and wiring updated as needed over time. Otherwise the pair is in excellent condition.
This design is illustrated in the Royère archives and numbered R-452. Sold with a copy of the 1985 exhibition catalog Jansen présente Jean Royère at Jansen, Paris.
