English, Late 19th/Early 20th century. Stained oak wood slant front letter box with two hinged doors (right with brass shield form escutcheon) that open to compartmentalized storage within, shaped dividers for housing letters or papers, lower section with sloped pen storage and space at right, likely original for inkwell. Brass lock illegibly marked. Approximate height 11", width 12.25", depth 6.75".
