These vases were created for Alcoas 1959 Design Forecast Project aimed at showcasing the design properties of aluminum. The project featured works in aluminum by well-known designers including Charles Eames, Paul McCobb, Eliot Noyes, Alexander Girard and Isamu Noguchi.
