Wood surfaces have been cleaned, and refinished preserving older wear and areas of filler associated with other examples.
Seventeen inch age fissure and several smaller age fissures to desk top. Caning of chair has been updated and is free of any visible breaks or soiling. Both chair and desk show older repairs, darkened dents, filled fissures, and uneven patina. Chair is sturdy. Very good overall vintage condition.
Chair measures: 20 w x 20 d x 31.5 h inches. Lot is comprised of an armchair from Punjab University and desk from the Administrative Buildings, Chandigarh.
