20th century. A pair of Empire style trumpet vases on stands, the tripartite base with incurvate sides and lion's paw feet under scrolled aprons and with bands of reeding and beading as well as panels incised with floral scrolls, the base surmounted by three shafts having lion's paw feet and connected by incurvate reeded stretchers, the shafts with impressed geometric and leaf tip patterns topped by swans with outstretched wings and necks arched downward with beaks holding chains as garlands connecting the forms, the vase being of simple trumpet form with flared rim and smooth surface. Impressed mark to underside at edge "F". Overall approximately 17" tall, 7" wide at base.
