$13,000
Shallow 1/4" chip to outer edge of rim and shallow 3/8" chip to edge of base, both in the making.
This rare and early vase features hand-tooling, which renders the flowers in unusually sharp relief. Three other examples with this glaze are known, all dated 1904, suggesting they were from a single experimental firing. Incised manufacturer's mark to base ‘AA’. Impressed number to base ‘8’.
