Boehm. Hooded Mergansers (496) male and female. A group of two bisque porcelain sculptures comprising of a male Hooded Mergansers with black body and white fanned head feathers resting on a rotted log and leaning breast forward with mouth open, and a female bird with brown body and head feathers resting on a rotted log and preening her wing feathers, both with naturalistic bases bearing blue flowers and green leaves. Male approximately 11" x 12" x 11", female approximately 10.75" x 12" x 6.25". Provenance: From the Estate of Sam & Florence Inman, Atlanta, Georgia.
