Boehm. Blue Grosbeak (489) and Downy Woodpecker (427). A group of two bisque porcelain sculptures comprising of Blue Grosbeak with one vibrant blue bird resting atop a branch with large green leaves and green acorns; and Downy Woodpecker with male and female adult birds resting on a branch alongside two fledgling birds peeking out of a hole in the trunk alongside bright orange bell flowers. Each piece signed to base "Boehm" and with maker's mark and title to underside. Grosbeak approximately 11.25" tall, 8.75" wide, 5.5" deep. Woodpecker approximately 13.125" tall, 5.75" wide, 6.25" deep. Provenance: From the Estate of Sam & Florence Inman, Atlanta, Georgia.
