English, Late 19th/Early 20th century. A petite maple table made in England in the style of 18th century candle stands, the molded-edge circular top decorated with painted blue ribbon and pastel floral garland decoration framing a central circular cartouche displaying eighteenth-century musical instruments painted in shades of cream and gray, overall surmounting a baluster-turned shaft with conforming floral painted decoration at lowest baluster and bellflower painting at lowest part of shaft, terminating in bottom acorn finial, joined by three squared legs with carved outline and conforming ribbon and flower painted decoration. Approximate height 28.25", width 15.5" (at widest point of legs), diameter of top 14.5".
