English, 19th century. Bird's eye maple veneered tea caddy of sarcophagus form, the exterior with lightwood stringing throughout with wooden ring handles suspended from knobs at sides and having a hinged pagoda top opening to reveal two lidded compartments of similar wood and decoration with round bone pulls to center of lid, overall raised on brass ball feet, lock replaced. Approximate height 6.25", width 7.5", depth 4.5" at widest point, height of interior compartments 3.5" width 3.25" Paper label at bottom reads "Chapman & Warwick LTD."
