A sterling silver trumpet vase with ornate floral repousse work, the round foot with floral medallions flanked by c scrolls below connecting peaked acanthus scrolls, the tapering shaft with vertical floral garlands on tondo, and the flaring rim with floral cartouches bordered by c scrolls and acanthus scrolls and with hanging floral garlands below, the rim being shaped with floral buds atop acanthus scroll garlands. Marked to interior rim of foot with standard "925-1000 FINE", a gothic cross form maker's mark, "STERLING", and "635". Monogram to body "MLS". Overall approximately 15.375" tall, 5.375" diameter of foot. Total approximate weight 15.875 troy ounces.
