Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848-1933). A Tiffany Studios favrile art glass compote, pattern #1923, the gold iridescent compote with wide top with undulating rim supported on thin shaft terminating on a domed circular foot with spider web motif. Underside of vase on ground pontil with engraved "L.C. Tiffany", "Favrile" and "1923". Approximate height 8.6", diameter at top 9", diameter of foot 5". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
