Three autograph letters signed “Dick” or “Swan & Dick” to Grossman, each accompanied by the original mailing envelopes addressed in Cardini’s hand. Cardini discusses in detail the construction or repair of magic apparatus including watch reels and an innovative idea for the use of flash cotton, reflections on an early unsuccessful performance in London (“I never did that routine for small children again”), business and performances, and personal matters and greetings.
