Gorham (American, founded 1831), late 19th century. Cut crystal table vase with scalloped rim at top above diagonal zippered motif above hexagonal paneled bottom surmounting sterling silver base with beaded border above tapered paneled stem above a circular foot engraved with scrolled monogram on a hexagonal plinth. Marked on bottom with lion, anchor and G maker's mark for Gorham above "STERLING" and "G2588" and impressed shell dating the vase to circa 1896. Approximate height 15.7", diameter of base 4.6", diameter of top 3.25"
