LIBERIA Height 9 1/2 inches Provenance: Economos Works of Art, Santa Fe, New Mexico Acquired From the Above by the Denver Art Museum, 1970. Minor marks, scratches, nicks and abrasions throughout, consistent with age. Light brown patina on mask throughout. Closed hairline crack on top as well as bottom. Newer loss on reverse located on the proper left side. Drill hole from previous mounting on reverse. Old worn adhesive, probably from an old label. In black ink on reverse: '461-QA-Ex.' Old inventory number on reverse in black ink: '1970.803.'
