In the manner of Joseph D'Aste (French/Italian 20th century). Terracotta figural group depicting a nude satyr and a nude boy pulling on a goat's horns and neck. Figures on a oval rock form base with floral and grass design. Signed on back "Daste". Terracotta with cast iron reddish-brown finish. Figural group raised on a gilt painted oval socle base. Height 11.5 inches, width 16.25 inches, depth 9 inches. Provenance: From the collection of Mr. Thomas V. and Mrs. Marie B. Patton, Atlanta, Georgia.
