Herter Brothers Renaissance Revival Walnut Sideboard, America, second half 19th century, carved overall, upper case with molded cornice over centralized arched colonnade framed by foliate cartouche frieze over glass cabinets with single shelf, each resting on columnar supports surrounding a rectangular mirror, projecting lower case with two centralized short drawers over an open compartment, each end with a single drawer surmounting a paneled carved door, resting on a shaped plinth base, stamped to back "HERTER BRO'S," and inscribed "Mr. Chamber Sideboard of Walnut 71 9," ht. 94 1/2, wd. 120 1/2, dp. 27 1/2 in.
