Michael Shacham (American, b. 1938) Man and Destiny . Signed "Shacham" in the bronze globe l.c., numbered "2/25" l.r. Bronze with brown patina, height approximately 20 in., on a clear plastic plinth. Condition: Areas of wear to the patina, dust and dirt to the interstices. N.B. We would like to thank the artist for providing the title for this sculpture. He describes the subject as a young man being drawn by his powerful destiny, symbolized by the eagle claw grasping the globe (his future world).
