c. 1984 acrylic and dye on shirt height: 82.5 cm (32 1/2 in.) signed, titled and dated right sleeve; additional inscription LOT NOTES: Former non-conformist poet turned artist, Henry Khudyakov, attributes the brightness and glitter of his artworks to the vibrant "Joie de vivre" of New York, where he resides since 1974. He call his shirts, vests and jackets "visual non-wearables." Similar shirt is worn by Khudyakov on the photograph at New York Times Style section from June 14, 1985.
