Probably Northern Song Dynasty, 11th/12 Century. The lobed squat vessel with a loop handle and cover with animal finial, it’s companion lotus shaped bowl with extended long leaves, the exterior delicately incised with stylized motifs, both with an overall pale greenish tinted white glaze. Height of ewer 8 ½’. Height of bowl 5 “. Diameter 7”. (Cond: good overall, firing crack to base of neck on ewer, the bowl with surface imperfections) (500/700)
