Circa 1870, the movement marked on the reverse Pickard & Dunant, 2538 Paris, the porcelain possibly marked, but presently concealed. The three piece garniture with a center clock flanked by candle stands, the clock with a pair of putti atop the clock face, grasping garlands and centering an urn; the stands with a single putto holding aloft a candle branch, each shaped rectangular base with porcelain inset plaques painted with frolicking putti, on shell cast scrolled feet. Height of clock 17”. Width 24”. Depth 6”. Height of stands 19”. Width 8”. Depth 7”. (Cond: good overall, good quality casting, detailing and color) (8000/10000)
