Colonial Pennsylvania Half Crown / Two Shillings and Six Pence note, no. 32216, dated 1772, signed ("John Morton"), countersigned by John Sellers and Charles Humphreys. Printed by D. Hall and W. Sellers, with the warning, "To Counterfeit is DEATH." Measures approximately 3.25 x 3 inches, lacks one corner. In 1775, Morton was the Speaker of the Pennsylvania Provincial Assembly.
