(British, 1802-1874) Grey in a Loose Box, 1841 oil on canvas signed and dated (lower right) 24 x 30 inches. Provenance: Trace Mayer Antiques, Louisville, Kentucky Craquelure, small paint losses, surface dirt. Canvas very dry and brittle; recently torn through the middle with a very large hole at center. Needs complete restoration. Additional photos available upon request.
