William Comyns, London, 1911 the tortoise shell lid inlaid to show ribbon-tied bellflower swags, opening to a fitted interior with manicure articles. marked on side of lid and on base lid rim Width 7 1/4 inches. Property from the Estate of Richard Gardiner-McSwyny, Naples, Florida In stable, attractive condition. Some separation of interior lining from body. Tortoise lid with approximately four cracks, the largest being roughly 3 inches.
