of rectangular form, the hinged top inlaid to show a rampant lion and opening to a compartmented interior. Width 17 inches. In good, stable condition. Top opens and closes smoothly, having lock but not key. Exterior with fairly even finish, with light surface wear consistent with age. Top and bottom with age splits. Bottom felted.
