the upper register of each panel depicting various vases and censers above a central register depicting birds perched in flowering branches, all within scrolling lotus borders, raised on bracket feet. Height of each panel 78 x width 16 inches. Heavily worn with age cracks, flaking lacquer, scratches and wear. Areas of possible overpainting and minor repairs; areas of lost lacquer.
