19th/20th century comprising two armchairs and six side chairs, each having a foliate carved crest rail and a pierce carved vasiform splat above a drop-in leather upholstered seat, raised on carved cabriole legs ending in claw and ball feet. Height 41 inches. Each in overall good condition, stable, usable. With fairly even finish throughout the set but with some light to moderate surface wear consistent with use. Upholstery intact. Undersides stamped with a restorer's mark- "Repaired by Morris Goldberg, 2003" Unsure as to maker of chairs, likely date to the late 19th or early 20th century.
