late 19th century having a hinged cover of rectangular form with rounded corners opening to a vacant interior, the conforming tapering body mounted with foliate handles, painted throughout to depict floral sprays and raised on paw feet. Height 18 inches. Property from the Estate of Blanche C. Hill, Vail, Colorado In overall good, stable, usable condition. Retaining much of the painted decoration but with some surface wear/chips to finish. Top opens and closes smoothly, both handles intact. Additional images available upon request.
