Scattered chips to the various plants on the base. Area of loss to one of the lobster's antennae, as well area of surface loss to the glaze on lobster's back. Examination under UV light reveals area of retouch to the hand of the infant within the net. Minor accretions of grime and dust throughout, particularly in the recesses. The associated gilt bronze base with an even, fairly bright patina; one of the holes on the openwork base appears to have been created with a drill.
