second quarter 19th century having a rectangular top above a frieze drawer and two graduated long drawers, the lower two drawers flanked by ebonized columns. Height 39 3/4 x width 40 1/2 x depth 20 1/4 inches. Scattered surface scratches, nicks and age splits throughout. A few concentrated grime deposits to the top. Abrasion to the top on the proper-left side. A segment of projecting molding on the proper-right side is slightly loose. Three minor convex distortions with associated lifting to the veneer below the frieze drawer. Minor scuffs and nicks to the ebonized columnar supports. Minor area of black discoloration (appears to be a paint-like substance) on the proper-right side. Some worming to the back panels.
