(Spanish, 17th Century) Madonna and Child oil on linen 23 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches. Property from the Estate of Marlene Nasreddine, Miami, Florida Craquelure throughout consistent with age. Two nearly parallel cleavages to the linen support. Scattered, minuscule grime deposits throughout. Stretcher marks to the perimeter of the linen support. Examination under UV light reveals an even varnish overall and scattered areas of retouch, particularly in the upper-right corner and along the lower horizontal edge.
