after fra angelico, 19th/20th century each depicting a musical angel, set in a Gothic Revival giltwood frame. Height 25 x width 11 inches. Property from the Estate of Cornelia Baldwin, Chicago, Illinois Scattered, minor surface scratches, nicks and age splits throughout consistent with age. Some of the twist-carved colonnettes flanking both angels are slightly loose. Scattered, minor areas of loss to the gilt. Examination under UV light reveals a few minor areas of retouch to the painted angels and gilt.
