claude-charles saunier, circa 1800 each having a shaped three-quarter galleried marble top above a conforming frieze with running coin decoration and fitted with a single long drawer, raised on square tapering legs joined by two medial shelves, stamped C C Saunier to the reverse. Height 34 x width 28 1/8 x depth 10 1/4 inches. Property from the Collection of Dr. and Mrs. Jack Durell, McLean, Virginia Each in good, stable condition consistent with age. Minor surface scratches, nicks, areas of discoloration, scuffs and grime deposits to the white marble tops consistent with age and use. Gallery of one top slightly detached on the proper-right side. Some amber colored discoloration to the fronts of the white marble tops. One minor area of loss to the veneer under a drawer. Drawers open and close smoothly. Each with minor surface scratches, nicks, instances of splitting and lifting to the veneer consistent with age. Mounts intact, each having an even, slightly dull patina.
