late 19th century each cover surmounted by a putto riding a swan, the urns cast to show ducks swimming in a pond among cattails and leaves in relief, raised on fluted marble plinths of tapering octagonal form. Height 10 1/4 inches. Bronze to both having an even, slightly dull patina; scattered instances of pitting and oxidation to the bronze throughout. Light surface wear, areas of discoloration, and minor chips to the edges of the foot rims on the white marble socles. One figural finial slightly loose. Each with moderate shelf wear to the underside.
