bordeaux, 18th century having a serpentine front top with a carved edge over the bombe form case with two short and two long drawers, the drawer fronts carved with foliate scrolls above a similarly carved apron, raised on short cabriole legs. Exterior with fairly even finish, having light to moderate surface wear (nicks & scratches) consistent with age and use, some areas of discoloration. Tight age splits to top and sides. Drawers open and close smoothly, with locks but no key. Some reconstruction to drawers, back left leg as viewed rebuilt. Some scattered worming. Older repair to back panels.
